Types of parables

Parables of Grace and Love: Stories that illustrate the forgiveness, boundless mercy, and unconditional love of God.

Example: The Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32).

Parables of Salvation and the Lost: Stories focused on God's active pursuit and joyful celebration over the lost.

Example: The Parable of the Lost Sheep (Luke 15:3-7).

Parables of Wisdom and Discipleship: Stories designed to teach practical wisdom, proper attitudes toward wealth, and how to live a faithful life.
